I have been to every show but the first show. We stay at Bally's each year and this is our home base for Las Vegas, right in the middle of the strip. The show was next door at Aladdin's, then it was a free shuttle ride away at the Orleans, then a walk to the Tropicana, then a long walk or a monorail ride to the Riviera, so far cheap to get to. Then the show made it to south Point where it cost me $30 each way to go and come back so I only go once a year. The reason we stay at Bally's is because of shows and a huge variety of casinos to go to. We don't like being stuck way out and I would never rent a car in Las Vegas. We have been to the Gold Coast on the way to the Orleans and it is old but has a free shuttle to the strip from Caesar's Palace. There was a casino auction there if I remember right and maybe this would be a good location. Also the first shows were in late May and this recent one was so hot you could only walk a block before having to duck into air conditioning. I know the economy shook many out of chip collecting but it will change, hopefully soon.
