I was going to try and write for some grants for us last year, I got a copy of our Articles and then realized that this was not the first step and
I'm not in a position to engage with the BOD about fundraising without a clear plan. I believe we are still filing out of NY, should it be NV.
Issues like this bring up debates that need to be worked out.

I'd think we would have a good shot at money from the Nevada Commission for Cultural Affairs. Not sure if we would qualify filing out of NY. I'm scarred to ask.

This type of effort needs to be driven by the BOD and overseen by the Club Officers.
At this point money is not our issue. It is our organizational structure and the declining membership. We need to retool. There is a large part of our membership that doesn't really care about the club shrinking, (that is a problem). They don't mind if we remain a small club of good friends and they will dance till the boat sinks.

That is frustrating. I know we can turn things around… we just need the right plan.
