hobbies have shrinking memberships...they (we) just can't seem to get a younger generation interested or involved. We do have some younger, enthusiastic members (ie Westen & Jamison), but your suggestion would also involve their desire to spend the time & effort to become a BOD member. I still believe that most collectors don't really get involved or immersed in a hobby until they are at the age where career is pretty much stable & family (kids) obligations have leveled off.

I had a number of interesting discussions with Jay Sands & some other collectors where a number of great (IMO) ideas were brought forth. I hope that some of them will be brought to the entire BOD for discussion and/or consideration.
