... is someone who can communicate clearly and effectively to the membership on issues affecting the club and someone who will represent the club well to those outside the organization. Other members' priorities might be different, but those are mine.
Jay Sands has proved, at least to me, that he can do these things. I have serious doubts about whether his opponent can. Yes, spelling counts.
And for those members new to the club, check out the Chipboard archives from 2011. Continually putting down your opponent, rather stating your own strengths, might work in national political elections, but it doesn't fly here. As Michael Siskin correctly said in the previous post, it was never clear what Joe Pavlik intended to do if elected when he ran for office previously. He was too busy slamming his opponent and never informed the membership why he was the better candidate.
