Thanks for the details, Gene; I also looked up Marino's Bar using your info, and read of its sad demise in a fire. But I found nothing on New Concept Office Equipment, the Arcata firm which supposedly ordered the chips. It's still a mystery. I suspect the Diamond J would have been an illegal room, in Marino's Bar or somewhere else, either in Arcata or eventually Marysville. Would like to see any reference from Cashcoinconnection as to how the Marysville location was proven or postulated . . .
