I've been to Old Homestead restaurant in NYC just once. Just after we were seated, a waiter walked by carrying a tray of diner plates above his shoulder. All we could see were lobster claws sticking out over the edge of the tray. I remarked that all four people at the table must have ordered lobster. When the waiter put the tray down we saw that there was only one gigantic lobster there that covered the entire tray. Must have been 10+ lbs. I can't imagine what it cost.
