After the convention, a happy experience was had by all as we drove around Las Vegas visiting the Station Casinos that issued a special tribute to American veterans with a Limited Edition $5 chip saluting those who served this great country. What a pleasure it was as I was able to purchase new chips at the cage from very friendly people who cared. Thanks to the folks at Station Casinos for this gesture of the chip, and also the issuance of a special player's card that has perks linked to them like discounts on meals to extra points and other promotions. Does anyone know if there are other Station Casinos that issued this chip?
We didn't get around to Main Street Station downtown, but was told they did not have one. Also, Wild Wild West did not issue a chip. As a veteran, I salute all my fellow service men and women who answered the call to serve this great county -- preserving for future generations the freedoms we enjoy in the greatest country in the world.
