I had finished sanding/ staining/finishing this library card catalog in the beginning of March of this year. I had to put it on hold for a bit do to a back injury( bulging disc C-7....horrible..do wish it upon anyone!!) Of course it was still in pieces waiting to be put back together( 60 drawers w/ 10 screws each all by hand). It took a while because I could only do a few at a time. My arm was numb and had no feeling in my hand/fingers. It was hard to put any time into it. I was trying to shine up the brass( screws too) but only did about 20 of them and realized it didn't look any different than the unpolished trim. So I scrapped the polishing. I did get the last of it put together last night.

I bought 36 black 4.5 X 14 boxes (off eBay)to get started with sorting and organizing. I figure that I won't need to put boxes in all 60 compartments. They fit almost perfectly. I will have to make labels for the fronts of the drawers.

I really needed something like this to become more organized. I kept buying chips and stack them somewhere in the house until I find the time to put into binders. I never found the time. It has been overwhelming. Moving all those chips to find a space for 1 chip becomes a not-so fun idea when you have a thousand or so to put into alphabetical order.
