I got a great Father’s Day collectible gift (from our cats!) today. Thanks to my wonderful wife who let the cats use her credit card....They really know what I like.
It’s a pristine original menu from the Sate Cafe’. The State Cafe was at 20 Fremont street in the 1930’s-1940’s and I’m not sure when it closed up but it had to be by 1952 when Buckley’s Jackpot club opened in the same location.
Today there is the Glitter Gulch Gentlemen’s Club at that location so it’s still cooking’ there!
