I was offered the 3-piece plaque set as being from Evian, but turned it down.

We know what some Evian pearls look like that have Casino Municipal Evian engraved on them with a monogram CE.

My guess is that this pearl has only one letter; E... and everything else engraved is an embellishment seen on many pearls.

I was also under the empression that the red stripe was an afterthought by whomever.

In either/any event; congrats, it's a nice piece (nice meaning pretty, not a town in France )
