I would be interested in reading the article about the Hank's / Bonanza Club building. Do you know if it's online anywhere, or where I could get a copy?
By the way, here's a 1969 aerial photo of the area. The big L-shaped building at the center is Caesars Inn (which later became Harvey's Inn and the Lakeside Inn). Just below it along Highway 50 is The Riverboat casino in the small building. In the bottom right you can see Kingsbury Grade merging with U.S. 50. At the top right, on the corner of Kahle Drive and U.S. 50, is the former South Tahoe Club, which would become the Stagecoach Casino the following year. In the center, just above Caesars Inn, the big diagonal building with the light roof is the former Sky Harbor airport/casino (the dirt field next to it used to be a parking area for airplanes, and the Sky Harbor runway was to the left, where there are now houses).
