Welker Cochran was a World Champion Billiards Champion. ( D.C. Palm played pool as well) They teamed up together and opened Cochran & Palm (Billiards) around 1934. ( kind of strange the PCS chips ordered in 1936??) Maybe one ran the pool part and the other the poker?? I saw plenty of newspaper clippings for Cochran playing pool in Chicago and New York. It seemed like every year this guy was #1 or #2 in the world.
