I don't see collectables as an available category. I wonder if the seller was able to do this as an option on the British site.

The American eBay seems to use this mainly for clothing. I have seen it a lot for electronic supplies (such as patch cords), but those were generally Chinese sellers and it may have been a Chinese listing option as well.
