Well - Really Casino "Host" chips !!! This interesting group of chips from the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City are reminiscent of the old Nevada "Host" chips from the Thunderbird, Stardust and Cactus Pete's.
Here are a few interesting facts about these chips.
1. Each chip has a full color picture of the "Host"
2. Contact info is on the back of each of these chips including email and telephone numbers
3. There are 4 different job titles on these chips - Vice President of Player Development, Executive Director of Customer Development, Director of Customer Development and the lowly Executive Casino Host. Donald Trump sure knew how to "create" important sounding Titles !!
4. All of these chips were probably "Made in China" but they took care in making them - as all the chips are perfectly "Medal" aligned on the obverse and reverse.
5. These chips were produced about 10 years ago and NONE of these employees are still working at the Taj.
6. There are 19 chips shown here and available for sale. The complete set of these chips was comprised of 26 chips (many of the remaining 7 chips not shown here are really, really hard to find).
