You hit the jackpot on that collection, Jay. That Action Casino Chula Vista will definitely get some action if you decide to sell it. I take it from your post that the former collector is no longer with us. Too bad - he would have had some great stories to tell about how he acquired his collection. I wonder if some of his chips were given to him as tips back when he was parking cars!
Bankers Casino has two kinds of $2 chips circulating. Their newer ones have a darker green inlay and have a bullet-hole design on them, someplace on the inlay - like those from the Limelight in Sacto. Hope you picked up one of both. My experience with that cardroom is that the cashier doesn't like picking chips, but if you buy a whole bunch at one time, you may get lucky and turn up the dark green $2 amid all the olive-green ones. I once asked the cashier for one of the darker ones, meaning a dark green $2, and she misunderstood me (or did she?) and handed over a purple-and-black $20 chip! Which I still have!!
I have heard of a high-value chip from Castroville but have never seen one. Apparently that little casino didn't like selling the $20 chips to collectors!
