I don't complain much about the post office, because overall I think it does a good job in getting our letters and packages to their destination quickly.
However ...
On May 18 I mailed a package from Reno. It was supposed to go the relatively short distance to northern Utah, which usually takes two days, three at the most. It was a bubble mailer with tracking. You can see the chain of events below - picked up on May 18, then no tracking updates for seven days, when for some reason it showed up in North Houston, Texas. It stayed there a day and is now in Knoxville, Tennessee. It's getting a nice tour of the country.
I had another package, also mailed on May 18, that was supposed to go from Reno to San Diego. It did - by way of Pensacola, Florida. But at least that one arrived Tuesday.
