Many of us have seen the Resorts 1st issue $1 chips with center inlays that have turned brown due to UV light or florescent lighting. This is the first I've seen of one that turned completely BLACK, and the edge inserts turned from pink to gray as well. Anybody care to offer an explanation as to what happened to this chip? I will show the other side in my follow up post as I don't know how to illustrate a side by side image in the same post.
