I always noticed that those auctions that used eBay's free (at least the first one is free) picture hosting service had unattractive, small pictures. (You can use eBay to store pictures from your own computer files; these pictures then end up in your auction.)...............Anyway, I always wondered if the pictures were poor to start with, or if the fault was eBay's iPIC system. So I experimented. In the auction I just put on eBay ( http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1144522736 ), the first picture of 5 chips is stored on my server. The second picture is small and skimpy -- that one is stored on eBay. And yet both pictures are from the exact same picture!!! I guess this is a case of "you get what you pay for."
