In Word the tab key only indents the first line of a paragraph. I liked what WP (7 and 8) would do -- it was smart enough to quess you wanted to indent all lines of your paragraph so it would convert the tab to an indent (and I admit there were times that was not what you'd want). I've not worked on WP9 (or 2000 as some people call it), so I can't speak for it. I know WP8 (which I have at home) looks more like Word 7 which I've never been happy about, but what can you do. These software makers don't listen to us little people.
