because deep in the recesses of my mind (which is a very scary place to go! ) I seem to remember a chipboard discussion about the various locations of Honest John's. I've searched the archives and can't find it .

BUT...I finally remembered an email exchange (in 2012...which is probably where the chipboard thread is too...) about Honest John's and found where I said this: "I also discovered an ad in an August 5- August 18, 1966 LV tourist magazine that says "Now open! Honest John's "Paradise"; Open around the clock; Cocktail Lounge; Slot Machine Casino; Chuck Wagon----Entertainment" That gives me a direction to search in...and gives you a ballpark opening date...

Hopefully I'll have more to report (or a copy of the ad!) soon...
