My wife's Windows 8 laptop has a problem. Every time she closes the top it goes to sleep(?). When she opens the top she is not connected to the internet and the machine does not connect automatically or it faults out. It says no internet connection. I know it is not the wireless router problem because my laptop is next to hers and works fine all the time and connects just like it should. But then mine is Win 7 which is understandable by most, not garbage like Win 8. Is there a setting somewhere that tells the computer to automatically connect to available wireless connections? Any other ideas how to solve the problem so Cindy does not have to click on the internet access button and reconnect manually - or sometimes restart the whole computer?
