The Message Board manages that for you. As you can see, TheChipBoard clock shows time to the minute, but uses a clock that also uses seconds, and only displays posting times by the minute. There is a trick to show who got in first when they both show the same minute.

If two, or more posts, show the same time in minutes, just go to "My Preferences" and change your "List Styles" to "Simple List" and then click Update Preferences.

Then, any and all posts are listed in chronological order. Those that posted in the same minute are listed in order of which was posted first (using the internal clock's seconds measurements). So while the seconds don't show, the one that came first will appear first.

After you change this setting, just go back and return to the Thread Listing and Update Preferences.
