Sadly I did buy a few hundred at $1.18. And more sadly I also prepaid some hotel rooms essentially locking in about $1.16 on the rooms. Of course I am not going until May so the rate may bounce back up by then. I am not really worried about it even though I still need a few hundred more euros since if I use my ATM debit card I only pay 3% plus the ATM fee. If the rates continue to drop I will just hold off getting any more until I get there.

I am surprised at the number of people who have euros to sell on Craigslist that don't even answer their email. I think I sent out 6 emails and the only reply I got is from the guy I bought them from. If anyone here has some Euros to sell I am still in the market for a few. I am going to the Paris flea market when I get there and you never know what you will find and most flea markets normally do not have a lot of ATM machines.
