Many of your that read the chip board know my wife, or have met her at one of the conventions, club meetings throughout the chip collecting world. She has been a volunteer at the last 3 Conventions at the promotions table that Roy is in charge of. I would like you to think of her as she goes in for an implant of a pace maker this morning at ten AM. Perhaps, say a few words to the big Guy above.
Last time she had an operation in Sept '14, she did not fare so well, with a extremely good hand Doctor. She was trying get her "trigger finger" (thumb) fixed. They described it as a procedure: 15 minutes and a band aid. Well, it ultimately took 3 operations, 2 trips to the emergency hospital and she still does no have full usage of her right hand. Being on Xaralto, also complicated the operations. But, that it is necessary to circumvent any strokes.
She is nervous but, her brother had one implanted 2 months ago (it is working for him very well) so it is definitely needed. As for me I am a bundle of nerves as well.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and any kind words.
