I wouldn't bother with any current chips... and only concentrate on vintage material in junk shops. I would also tell every person I come in contact with that I collect old casino chips. You can fit a lot of info on any business card size piece of paper (both sides) with illustrations that will click with those who just might know of something you show them. I would also bring some chips to hand out to those who might show s ome interest... Everybody loves having a Las Vegas chip... believe me.
