You know Doug, I don't know exactly why this is true, but I generally always want to know how and why to most things. My random though twould be that it is generational. By this I mean the chippers you are referring to seem to be older (circa (lol) 1930's to early 1960's), and as badly as this may sound it is my opinion that the qualities of integrity, honor, respect and generosity are far and away more prevalent in folks of these generations. It also may be something else entirely as this is definitely a distinct group of individuals; but whatever the case I am so very thankful for the experience of this.
