Many years ago I use to trade on line. I have several binders of chips and still trade at the Convention and AC Meetings. Over the years I scaled down as to what I collect. Sometimes I will trade with someone a chip they want and take something I don't need just to make the trade.
Somebody asked how to you trade. All my chips have a TCR value on them and we trade value for value. If it is a chip not listed in TCR i see what it is selling for or worth before I put it in my binder and then put that value on it.
Back to on line trading. I seldom see any chips I can use. Then if I try to make a trade I am scanning lots of chips and really don't have the time now. I would just rather buy the chip and move on.
Round Robins. I think the postal rates killed that. Also a few bad apples take out better chips and put in one of lesser quality. So people just gave up running them. They were fun. Maybe start one yourself.
Contests, I ran a few and they were fun. Again a few bad apples spoiled it for others by not sending the chips that they were suppose to. Also while I will sell and trade with others not in the USA, in a contest it wasn't worth the trouble for me.
Mabey when I have time I will scan and post pages from my trade binders.
