I received a phone call this morning. It was a recorded message stating that it was Paypal and that they noticed possible fraudulent activity on my account and they left an 888 call back phone#. It turns out that the 888 phone number is similar to Paypal's 888 customer support phone # but it is someone else looking to get more info from you for their illegal activities. Fortunately we did not gave them anything. Whenever you get a call like this, you have to authenticate the source and only call back to published phone #'s.
