Animals--Pink Floyd? I am surprised by your number one. Most wouldn't consider Animals in Pink Floyd's top three. Most that is, but not me, Animals is a masterpiece. I LOVE the album. It would easily be my #1 favorite of all time. Behind Animals, my two through five would be close and depending on my mood, the order would change. I do like Quadrophenia, it would make the list. Pink Floyd's The Division Bell would make the cut too. I know that most consider it secondary as it lack contribution from Roger Waters, but it was my first real "taste" of Pink Floyd. I was able to go to several concerts during the division bell tour. I wish I was old enough to see the entire group perform however. Anything pre REM Out of time would make the list. REM used to rock. I don't care for their newer stuff however. Document, Reckoning or Eponymous really stand out as top albums from REM. Finally Layla and other assorted love songs by Derek and the Dominos would make my top five. The album itself is ok, but in my opinion Layla is one of the greatest rock songs of all time.
Thanks. Neat post.
