I have learned not to ask prices. This is true whether I go to a flea market or I shop here for chips.

My theory is that sellers who do not price their merchandise will give a price based on the potential buyer's apparent interest. I suspect that a $5 item will be jacked up to $10 simply because I appear to be interested in it. I know that might sound paranoid, but I am not the type who enjoys the "game" of negotiation. Tell me what you want by putting a price tag on it, and I will not waste your time.
