I've never gotten an Excel report before, but they do allow you to get PDF formatted results for up to 24 months in the past from the "Activity" section. Here's what the request screen looks like. I haven't done it, but I believe you can import a section of a PDF file to Excel, so that migt work.

There is an option for "download" but it does nothing when I try it. You may want to call them for info. Since they never really completed the merging of the Ebay and PayPal systems, I suspect they are now having problems with the process of breaking them apart again due to the spinoff.
