I found FIVE brand new (albeit a little dusty), still shrinkwrapped copies of the FIRST EDITION hardback copies of the US Casino Chip Guide pushed to the back of an inventory shelf. Released back in 1999, these sold for fifty-bucks when they were released. I honestly don't remember what I paid for them. Each book has a visible two-sided serialized chip mounted into the cover of the book with the original price. Only 1,000 were printed. Some 15 years later the prices are no doubt very outdated so don't buy one as a price guide. However, this book represents a part of our hobby's history and as such you should own one if you don't already.
