There are thousands of auctions of common $1 chips that generally sell for $2-$3 that many sellers on ebay have listed for $3-$5 that almost never sell. Also - buyers of common chips like myself are almost always looking to buy in lots of 3 or 4 or more chips to save on shipping costs and reduce the average overall cost per chip, so even if I want a single chip and would otherwise be willing to pay an extra buck or so for it, I won't unless there are multiples I want to purchase. On any given day there are 9,000+ entries. Slightly rarer $1 chips that sell for $4-$12 often have multiple bids.
Why not try listing some of the chips you want to sell here on the chipboard? You might also put together a list or scan of chips and make them available to people via email?
