Just a few years ago, the Viejas poker room would be PACKED with cash and tournament tables.

The past couple of years, players have left in droves for nearby Sycuan and Barona poker rooms, for various reasons. Mostly related to management decisions.

Even though I haven't played there for several months, this hits me hard since this was one of the rooms I "cut my teeth" learning the game..

Everything Must Go Drawings

We are saying thank you to our loyal guests by giving away everything!
Including the total posted on the Jackpot board plus, everything in the Jackpot reserve will be given away with drawings every 15 minutes on Saturday, 27 from 10am to midnight and Sunday, from 10am to 8:30pm. There are only two ways to earn drawing tickets:

Hours played - Players will receive one drawing ticket for every five hours played September 1, to midnight of September 26. Players can collect their tickets when they come in during either drawing day.
Full Houses - From September 1st to Midnight of September 26th, any guest that makes a full house or higher in a Hold’em game will receive a drawing ticket. Both hole cards must play.
Guests may win more than one drawing, but not two in a row.

The last hand will be dealt at 8:30pm in which then we will be closing the room and saying thank you to all of our loyal guests!
