As I said, the place is a little sketchy. The pictures I showed before were taken from the cab. I told the cab driver that I collected chips, and he asked me if I wanted to stop and pick some up. He said it would be better if I went in with him. However, I didn't want to leave my wife and daughter in an empty cab so I passed.
The only place I almost got in trouble was in Antigua at this place:
My wife and daughter were shopping when I saw the casino. I told them I was going to take a look. It was all slots, but they had a game running with ping pong balls with numbers on them and you had to get to over a certain total to win the jackpot. However, every time you were short, you had to double your bet if you wanted to continue. The dealers move the balls quickly and cover the numbers to their advantage - i.e. if a 12 would help you, they cover the 2 with their finger making your "ball" worth a 1, and quickly throw the ball back in the hopper. Then you would have to double you bet again and again until it becomes financially impossible for the player to continue.
I saw a young couple beginning to play. The "casino" usually gives you some free chips to begin, so you can't lose. Once you run out of the "free" chips, you are soooo close to winning, you have to start betting your own money. I warned the couple that it was a scam several times, and they quit. The next thing I knew was that a guy in a tank top that looked liked Mike Tyson's younger and bigger brother said "Come here - I want to talk to you." I took off, running and cutting through the downtown traffic.
