To the best of my knowledge, Grubstake never issued a $1 chip and the only Molly's $1 chip issued was yellow/orange in color with 3 white inserts (which is very, very rare).
You either have something that the sky's the limit (if it can be authenticated) or a chip meant to deceive collectors. I would tend to lean to the later.
