What it looks like to me is, the chip is a 1980's chip (per book). The clock/chip looks to be an award that was given for slot play. You got one free pull and then paid 20 dollars (or more)
to play slots in an area at front of casino. You could win jackets, t shirts etc. This IMO is what it looks like. Hope that is a bit of help.
