I went to the Clarion Hotel & Casino with some friends who happened to be former employees on the last night of operations. There was a
man who said he was the head of HR who was chastising everyone who walked through the door if they did not walk directly to the bar. He
literally yelled at us for looking around (still many photos on the wall from the Debbie Reynolds days) and was trying to put up velvet ropes
around the bar to keep people in one area. If you ventured more than 10 feet from the six remaining slot machines or the bar he would
yell and flail his arms telling us we don't belong there. Even the bartender and security guard were laughing at his behavior. To give you an idea
about the disdain the Clarion has for it's customers here is a sign the bartender took off the wall and gave me, it was the only item that
actually referred to the Clarion as a "casino".
I also picked up a pen, room key, and stationary but they don't say "casino" or "las vegas" on them.
