"Obsolete" varies from juristiction to juristiction. There are those who take the position that ANY chip that is still redeemable (even though it has been removed from play decades ago) is not obsolete. So if a Chip Guide submitter claims that a rare first issue Resorts H&C chip is "obsolete" there are those who would disagree.
