17 healthy Vandas...

One year ago, this week; a well-known grower cleared out his Vanda house due to most of the inventory being affected with a leaf-spot fungus which doesn't actually harm the plant, but can be very unsightly and not command full-retail at their outlets.

Upon seeing the stock at one location and buying the ten examples they had, I visited six other locations and gathered everytning they had -- buying a total of 50 plants at approx. 1/4 of their nomal full retail... Lost one plant and thus far all have flowered at least once, since, with eight plants producing twin spikes.

I was lucky... it doesn't always turn out like that...
