There has been considerable concern at the ChipGuide about the best way to handle recognition to contributors when a 2nd contributor sends in additional information or better scans. A new policy has been adopted as follows:

1) The original contributor will always be recognized as the contributor. We will not change the contributor, unless if it is to make a correction.
2) If a 2nd contributor sends in additional information or better scans, they will be recognized as "Updated By". Both the original contributor and the Updated By will show.
3) On the Contributor page, only the original contributor will be recognized for each item, Updated By will not be tallied.
