The "Mamma Mia" $5 chips apparently were the first to sport "The New Tropicana" logo. Wasn't easy but I got one in June after a day of Convention Hijinks. The cashier refused to look for any, saying "Mamma Mia" wasn't a commemorative issue. Finally found a dealer who had just dealt one to a player who was betting it. She handed me the player's chip and gave him the $5 bill. He looked astonished. Then the dealer took my, or his, $5 bill and handed him a house $5 chip so his bet could still stand. Luckily the player had a sense of humor, and he laughed heartily at the absurdity of all this. Guess that's The New Tropicana spirit!

Anyway, I had predicted a new $1 chip of this very design to a friend of mine whose name is Vic. I should have put $5 on it.
