They had $5,000 and $10,000 plaques on the table. I don't recall seeing any of them being used to place bets. There were often higher rollers playing when I was playing, but they all used $1,000 (or smaller) jetons, even for outside bets. The croupiers also tended to only use the plaques to color up people cashing out, but I could have missed seeing some higher payouts using plaques because I was paying attention to my own numbers and chips. That wheel was right in the middle of the table games area. I suspect that anyone who was going to be making plaque value bets on a roulette table would not have felt real comfortable doing so in that setting.

My memory on what the plaques looked like is quite fuzzy after all these years, but I think one was primarily Orange and one was primarily Brown. I was told they also had $25,000 and $50,000 plaques, but I never saw any of those.

I had so much fun playing that game!!!!
