Don't know if Showboat and/or Trump Plaza or Revel will declare bankruptcy as did the Atlantic Club. If a new buyer is found for any of these properties, the new owner may be obligated to honor the outstanding chip debt. In the case of Playboy, the state of NJ established a fund by Elsinore to redeem these chips (until the Hernando dig was disclosed). It remains to be seen how the chip redemption at these properties will be handled. I'm sure that there will be posts on thechipboard should any advance redemption notice be published in the local newspapers. I truly feel sorry for the 7,000 employees at these properties who will be without jobs if no new buyers are found ... especially those who are A.C. residents.

BTW: Trump Marina and Trump Castle chips are currently being redeemed at Trump Taj Mahal cashier's cage.
