listing for that address. It documents the name varieties.
The Chip Rack and the Chip Guide each has just ONE listing for 4720 N. Virginia Street. That's fine, because the Bonanza part of the name was used through various incarnations. But I think if there's just one listing, it should start with the earliest date.
The Gaming Table 4th Edition has the following listings:
a. Bonanza Inn Casino (Bonanza Square Inn & Casino) 4720 N. Virginia St. Reno, NV 1973-1980 (and includes a note that $1 chips were used in Bonanza Cas. 2001)
b. Bonanza Square Inn 4720 N. Virginia St. Reno, NV 1973-1976 (and includes a note "Same as Bonanza Inn Casino")
c. Bonanza Square Casino 4720 N. Virginia St. Reno, NV 1976-1980 (and includes a note "Same as Bonanza Inn Casino")
d. Bonanza Casino 4720 N. Virginia St. Reno, NV 1980 - closed: no
And now that I've dug it out and looked at it....AND...I dug out Fuller's Index (which shows items b & c)...where did the 1979 date come from?
