John, the Chinese immagration to Cuba was quite large. The first Chinese to go to the island was in 1847. The Chinese community was a very fast growning thing in cuba and by 1940 they had everything from Hotels to cafe's to the Casino. I am not sure an exact date but the Casino Chung Hua was probably in operation between the 1940's to 1950's. I am sure there is more info but I am not sure right now.
