Here's a funny story - a few years back one of the casino shift managers where I work made an ashtray out of used casino dice. It caught fire and melted the first time he used it. He knew I collected casino items - and he started his story.... Never build an ashtray with dice....

Now THAT'S funny!! I can understand that someone might not think the dice would burn...but I'd expect it to occur to most anyone that the dice might melt, when used as an ashtray....???

If I had any idea where the picture is, I'd show a picture of an end table that's made from dice (Wilbur Clark's Desert Inn, I think). It's in one of the houses in the Clark County Museum on Boulder Highway.
