~~~ posted through the years; especially when new postage rates have gone into effect, my only suggestion is to make up a few different sample packets using different padded envelopes and business-size envelopes with carton protection in order to take to your local post office so they can give you an idea as to the cost of mailing each example. I would include different weight chips in the sample packets as well.
