As a seller, I have had this happen a couple of times. Chip shows as accepted at my PO, made it to another PO or two... then nothing. I usually ask the buyer to wait 2-3 weeks. If it still has not arrived, I refund the all the money + shipping. It sucks but as a buyer, I would expect the same.

Now, when I sell a chip that is worth an amount that I don't feel comfortable with, I buy insurance. That means that I lose money on shipping but I am insuring my mailing. Period. It is my choice to buy the insurance or not....but if I don't, I know that I'm on the hook. Lower value chips I just take my chances without insurance.

By all accounts, Glenn is a good guy. Nothing against him but I would have handled it differently.

Also, what is the story with the relisted/cancelled auction? Was that in error? It is the same chip (auction 271501677511)
