In the '60's we had a regional theater group in Sioux Falls, S. Dak. Out last play had a leading lady fall through a trap door that we rigged on the stage. At the first dress rehearsal, something slipped as did our "star" who broke her leg in the fall. Our director knew Ann from summer theater and called her; out she came and with two rehearsals filled in for our local broken actress--didn't charge us either (other than travel costs). She was something special.
